Quality sound
Can some one point me to a resource, similar to this board, to learn about sound and mic'ing techniques? I'd appreciate it. I have some questions I'd like to have answered.

Go over to to www.dv.com. There is an audio forum there and the moderator literally wrote the book on sound and DV---His name is Jay Rose-----You might even purchase his book---very good. Anyhow, they can answer all your questions and then some.

You can also post questions here, in the Open DV Discussion Forum. Several members and moderators here have extensive audio experience. You can try the search feature to see if your question has already been answered or feel free to post a new thread.

I love that forum, but not the forum itself -- that's easily the worst bulletin board software ever. But there is an amazing amount of knowledge on the forums.

Thanks all. In fact I am currently reading Jay Rose's book. That's what prompted my question. I haven't spent much time there but off I go!
