Hi
I'm looking into going into Stop Motion Animation can anyone give my advice on this please or where I could go to get more information in this. What camera/software package is recommended for this? Many Thanks, Gavin Thomas |

A few resources
Hello Gavin,
Here are a few websites you may want to peruse. These are in no particular order. www.animateclay.com www.stopmotionanimation.com www.stopmoshorts.com www.stopmotionworks.com A few other websites not specifically geared to stop motion, but they are a great place to learn about other techniques and animation in general. www.3dtotal.com www.fpsmagazine.com (nominal fee) www.cgchannel.com A couple of books you may want to consider: "The Animator's Survival Kit: A Manual of Methods, Principles, and Formulas for Classical, Computer, Games, Stop Motion, and Internet Animators" by Richard Williams "Encyclopedia of Animation Techniques" by Richard Taylor This list is by no means comprehensive, but it is a good start. Hope this helps! |
