Please advise.. WV-555
I wanted to buy something as an upgrade for my 3 CCD gs150. I called a friend and he said this panasonic WV-555 is a 3 CCD camera. After i had won the auction he called me back and told me he was mistaking, its a 3 tube.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=7592416169 Im trying to contact the guy and negotiate a return. Is this WV-555 worse video quality then the gs150? could someone please confirm... 3 tube < 3 ccd Last edited by Daniel Lipats; February 26th, 2006 at 07:18 PM. |

Panasonic WV-555
The wv-555 is a 3-tube plumicon camera manufactured in the mid-eighties. It's not digital, but it does make beautiful pictures: compared to digital cameras, it's a bit soft, and more film-like.
I use these cameras in a three-camera studio to teach film acting. They're brilliant, and very reliable. If yours works well and you can't return it, I'd be happy to buy it. |
