Where do I find an Episode Timeline or Format info at DVinfo.net

I recently have been asked to produce a small informercial style show with commercial breaks etc...

Since I have yet to take on such a project -
I am looking for some type of standardized timeline for such an animal with information on building an episode - how long the segments should be etc.. Does anyone know where I might find such a document?

If you were going to film an informercial with 24 minutes of content and 6 minutes of commercials ... what would be your format?

Does the industry have a standard timeline for episodes etc?
