Dv Pixelation

New to this site--
Does anyone know how to stop getting pixelated images when shooting Also I get missing areas when shooting. I have a miniDV JVC .

Follow these steps...

1. Buy a DV head cleaning cassette, and run it for about 8 to 10 seconds. Repeat after every 20 to 30 hours of recording time.

2. Avoid cheap DV cassettes.

3. If you've had the camcorder for more than a year, consider sending it in to JVC factory service for a thorough, professional cleaning and a re-alignment of the tape transport chassis.
