PowerPoint presentation onto a DV VCR
I currently have a Sony GV-D1000 VCR, which I connect to my Vaio Laptop by a FireWire cable. Obviously it works for importing and exporting video between the two devices, but is there anyway to export the computer screen itself so that it can be projected on a TV monitor - mainly PowerPoint.
I know there are special devices for this, but I don't really want to have to carry extra equipment for something I hopefully will rarely use. Thanks. |

Jeff,
I just installed a software scan converter from DataVideo called PPT-100 that will do what you are asking. Works very well for us and will output via firewire. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ughType=search |

Thanks! I downloaded the trial version of the software. I'll give it a try.

I just connect s-video output of my laptop to s-video input on GV-D1000 and record the screen. No software needed, just activate s-video output on your notebook (assuming it has one).
