Thinking about buying lights from Rostronics - what about bulbs?
Just curious about the bulbs for the 300/600 watt lights (continuous light for digital video). Can you get them at a local Homedepot or Lowes instead? Anybody have a Rostronics lighting kit and get lights from elsewhere beside Rostronics?
Thanks in advance! |

I know 500/1000 uses standard base r7s bulbs,I dont about 300/600
You'll want good quality bulbs to maintain white balance accuracy. They have reasonable prices ,why not order some from them? When I bought I ordered enough to replace the bulbs several times and have a backup. |

Yeah, you are right, but just trying to maximize my money and get replacements if I am in a pinch. I found a place that carries the bulb, but only 250W - so at least that is something.
