Wirecast using 2 computers
Hi,
I need a way of sending a stable signal of the desktop of one Mac into another Mac running Wirecast. Both Macs have USB-C Would a Blackmagic Ultrastudio Monitor 3G on the Mac who's desktop is to be recorded connected to the Wirecast machine with a Blackmagic Ultrastudio Recorder? The Audio would also need to be sent too. Or any other solution would be much appreciated. I've used each HDMI Dongles and a mini recorder in the past with flakey results. Thanks James |

Re: Wirecast using 2 computers
Try Wirecast’s Remote Desktop Presenter to bring a networked computer’s screen capture in:

Re: Wirecast using 2 computers
James. I’ve done what you’re asking with a mini recorder, albeit the older version. It’s sometimes helpful to change the refresh rate of the computer you’re sending from to 24 or 30hz. I sent audio and video to Wirecast. Also created a multi output device to both hear the audio from the sending computers speakers and send it through HDMI simultaneously.
