video Converter
Hi,
I would like to know if any one here knows of a scan(I think) converter is maybe what I am looking for ie to convert interlaced to progressive. I have 3 sony cameras that the HDMI is interlaced and my video mixer is progressive in only. |

Re: video Converter
That's an interesting issue. There's no way to set your cameras to 1080p? Also what video switcher is it that doesn't take 1080i?
The MD-HX is probably the least expensive way to do this. There's also the Blackmagic Teranex, and AJA FS1/2/4. |

Re: video Converter
The cameras are Sony HXR-MC1 The video mixer is a Roland VR-3EX. I know the video mixer may still be SD but I have tryed my Sony HVR-Z5 on it with the video set to 1080p and it works fine on all inputs even though the max is 576/50p.
It just the 3 HXR-MC1 that dont work over HDMI with the mixer. well input 4 will but its used a laptop via VGA as its the only connection on it. Edward will look in to the units you have suggested. Thank you |

Re: video Converter
I use a Livewedge made in Japan by Cerevo
4 hdmi inputs of anything work just fine. (not4k) It switches with greenscreen and pip and it records to an sd card or streams 720p out thru rj45 ethernet All for about 1000usd |
