Power supply for Hitachi VM-E368E Camcorder

Hi,looking for a bit of advice please.

I can't find a power supply for my Hitachi VM-E368E camcorder but I do have a working battery for it.
I need to copy about 20, 8mm tapes and the battery isn't any good for this type of work.
Is there any way of using the battery and turning it into a dummy battery and somehow run it of the mains, only a thought :)

Thanks in advance.

Anthony I think your best bet is to search Ebay and see if you can find another one of these camcorders that includes the power supply. You can probably score one pretty cheap. Good luck!

Hi Chris, that's exactly what I just did and bought a camera with power supply included. It arrived yesterday and the power supply fits my own camera as well, happy days :)

Thanks
