Belden 8281 or 9104 for HD-SDI?
Hi Everyone,
Apologies for asking, however I get a bit confused on appropriate cables and what to look for. A friend of mine recently upgraded his equipment to HD-SDI (and higher). A few years ago he was given a reel of Belden 8281 and 9104 cable. Would this be suitable for HD-SDI (and higher) transmission? What would be the best use for this in that environment? The 9104 seems flexible enough to use for camera runs, but the 8281 cable seems a bit too stiff for normal every day use. Both are RG59, 75 ohm. Here are the spec sheets: Belden 9104 http://www.belden.com/techdatas/english/9104.pdf Belden 8281 http://www.belden.com/techdatas/english/8281.pdf Many Thanks M |
