Small battery powered HDMI to SDI adapter
What would you guys suggest for HDMI to SDI adapters that would be portable, possibly even on camera, definitely battery powered.

Re: Small battery powered HDMI to SDI adapter
I've been using a Blackmagic SDI - HDMI mini converter on camera, but they also have an HDMI - SDI version.

Re: Small battery powered HDMI to SDI adapter
Atomos makes a little one that's powered by Sony NP series batts. Actually they make 2 for the 2 directions HDMI/SDI. About $100 IIRC.

Re: Small battery powered HDMI to SDI adapter
The Atomos Connect converters run $195 and use Sony-type camcorder batteries.
Black Magic now offers "Micro" converters for HDMI > SDI and vice-versa, $85 each. They have a micro USB port for power, so one can use any of those inexpensive battery packs meant for recharging cell phones. AC adapter included. Thanks Jeff |

Re: Small battery powered HDMI to SDI adapter
I figured out this was a way to mount my Atomos Connect to my Canon XF 300. The good news that I discovered yesterday, is that same flat screw you see (that I cut short with a saw) screws into my DSLR setup
Albiet my Atomos/setup is not working at the moment, at least it's pretty on the setup. :}
