Client preview utility: Frame.io or Wistia or ?
For years, we've been uploading to Vimeo and sending a link to the client. We then handle changes by e-mail. It generally works pretty well, but you've probably heard things like "you know that one shot of the guy standing next to that thing", or "what's that noise in the back of that one interview" that you can never seem to pin down specifics.
Suddenly a couple of interfaces to manage this process have popped up. Anyone have any experience with any of them? |

Re: Client preview utility: Frame.io or Wistia or ?
Are you doing a time code burn in on your uploads to Vimeo? If so, why isn't the client telling you the time code numbers displayed on the screen? Hours, minutes, frames. It's the industry standard way to communicating where the in points and out points should be.
It's also a good idea to watermark previews. Many of the NLE's will allow various comment fields in the burn in. That's how I put a watermark of my company logo in the burn in itself. Hope this helps. |

We use Wipster. Clients love it.
