new camera help
have a canon xl-2 and using data video dn-60 to record on card and have adobe premiere and am looking to to do dv any suggestions on a good low end cost of a prosumer camera or similar to the xl-2 minus some of the bells and whistles thanks Tom

If you only want to shoot DV (720x480 at 30i) then a used Panasonic P2 camera will work well. The HVX200 or HPX170 will shoot direct to P2 cards at 480i.

thanks i want to distribute rail road dvds and would like the out put to be comparable to others on the market. I'm not sure what the differences are between the sizes of the canon xl-2 and the Panasonic. I have the canon at 60fps setting. Thanks any feed back would help thanks you, Tom
