Release Plate Won't Stay Tight..
I am struggling with my release plate staying tight. Does anyone have a suggestion for this?
I also own a Kenova Slider and it absolutley refuses to stay tight on it's plate. Do those quick release plates fix this issue? |

Sometimes the fixing bolt shows to be a bit to long and because of thet it reaches the bottom of the hole, before it gets fastened.

Re: Release Plate Won't Stay Tight..
Can you post a photo? Which plate is it? The Konova sliders don't have one built in and Konova heads are just rebranded from other manufacturers. Often bolts will come loose, get stripped etc.
A simple short term solution to a wobbly QR plate is a bit of black electricians tape on the sides. Not perfect but it'll save your butt in a pinch.

Re: Release Plate Won't Stay Tight..
Below is what I have
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/images/i...500/553892.jpg http://cheesycam.com/wp-content/uplo...ova-Slider.jpg That plate screws into the bottom of the slider and then that plate goes on my tripod. Well, the plate refuses to stay tight on the slider and it is so maddening. I don't care if I have to buy something, but i just want it fixed. |
