Anyone using an SD to CF car adapter?
Anyone using one of these - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/816112-REG/Digieffects_SDXCF_Extreme_SD_HC_XC_to_CF.html ?
I don't need it for anything crazy fast, just trying to use my existing SDXC cards with a good old Focus FS-H200 recorder. Is this working properly for you? Thanks, |

Re: Anyone using an SD to CF car adapter?
I'm not using those unfortunately, but Digigears cards are manufactured by C-ming and those I have used. Digigear are the US partner of C-ming.
These C-ming adapters (https://www.facebook.com/SDCF4I5) are used for my eyefi cards in my Nikons D3 and D3X. Their newer adapters are quite fast during write and read. Their older ones had half the speed. Even though you might not need the highest speed it's worth every penny when tranfering the media off the card. As I seldom remove the SD from the CF adapter due to it's easier to handle the CF. |
