Re: Live Steaming...
Hello,
This is slightly off the specific topic but related so I hope you'll bear with me. I am planning to stream for a client using Google Hangouts and have a quick question about aspect ratio. I have an SD Sony XDCam that shoots 4:3 and 16:9. I'd like to stream a 16:9 image but the camera signal is anamorphic and winds up looking squished on the Hangouts screen - even though the image on my Aja IoHD desktop player is 16:9. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. |

Re: Live Steaming...
Hey folks, I have recently done streaming on both youtube and Google Hangouts. It's pretty new to our company, but I was tasked with figuring it out. We've done only two events so far, but they've both been successes. I used a JVC GYHM890U, a quad core mac mini, and a Black Magic UltraStudio Mini. I put together a tutorial I did for work and fellow employees- so it's pretty unpolished, but here it is.
And here is a second one that goes into scheduling a live event for a later time. I would answer any questions not covered in the videos. Also if you send me a message I can provide a youtube link to the live event we did. |
