8mm Super 8 transfer advise/feedback needed

Using a Sears Du-all Eight 8mm Film Projector with Canon XHA1s Camera using manual exposure, HDV 24F shutter speed of 1/24 s This projector only has normal and slow motion speeds…. I used normal. Ran a line from camera direct into laptop.

Any suggestions or advise?

Thanks!

Super8 isn't 24 fps, it's 18.

If your camcorder has a 1/90 second shutter, I'd try that or if you have ClearScan/Electronic Scan try around there and dial it in more exactly.
