Need to access Non-finalized miniDVDs - Mac
I have a client who just sent me 15 miniDVDs for source material for an edit. She was unable to finalize 3 of the 15 ( the last three) and they are recognized as blank disks by my Mac Pro. Does anyone know of any software that might allow me to access the footage?
I have left a message with my client to see if the camcorder is still available as I suspect I can still play out from that BUT if that is not available, I may need a plan b. Plan c is to try and find a working model of the same camcorder. FWIW, I tried to use my duplicator to copy the dvd, hoping it would produce a finalized version but it too did not recognize the disk. Thanks in advance.

You either have to get the DVD camcorder and finalize it there or try a regular DVD recorder from the same brand. Occasionally this will work.
