In a way it is worrying, because it underlines just how complex the art of making movies is compared to stills photography. On top of the multitude of codecs and formats we need to learn, plus the art of recording decent audio, there is this whole subtle language of shot development and composition. It feels like a lot to learn to me right now, but the compositional points Adam pointed out, make absolute sense, and I’m sure as hell going to try and hang on to them.
