camera with time and date stamp
What current/new model cameras have the feature for time and date stamp? Would like to have as near to professional quality camera as possible that still offers this option.
Thanks Bob |

Re: camera with time and date stamp
Hi, Bob! If you're looking for this functionality, the list of cameras that do it are, unfortunately, disappearing rapidly. Which doesn't make sense if one wants to properly capture depositions and other types of legal videography. You didn't say what you'd be doing that would necessitate the time and date appearing on your image, but it's probably some form of legal stuff. ;-)
That said, here's a link to a fairly long string on the subject. At the end, Ervin Farkas provides a pretty comprehensive list of contemporary camcorders that will 'burn in' date and time. http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/taking-c...endations.html Hope this helps. ~TRW

Re: camera with time and date stamp
Hi Bob. One of my video cameras is a Canon XL-H1a. It is a tape based camera and it can be set to stamp the date and time on the tape.
