Sony PJ710 Projector
I need to do a presentation next week. I copied my presentation onto the memory of my PJ710 thinking it would find it and play. I copied a 1.6 GB MOV file. But the Sony doesn't recognize the file... It just says there are no images in memory...
Now, my presentation is approaching and I'm not able to use my projector. Is there a way to make this work. Am I missing something? I'd appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks very much |

Re: Sony PJ710 Projector
I'm not familiar with the PJ710 but after looking at the specs, it appears that your camcorder/projector does not play .mov, only MPEG4 or MPEG2. Try converting your presentation to specs compatible to those below and you should be fine. What NLE are you using? What is your .mov resolution right now?
Video Format : HD:MPEG4-AVC/H.264 AVCHD™ format ver.2.0 compatible; STD: MPEG2-PS Video Mode : HD PS: Approx. 28Mbps / FX: Approx. 24Mbps / FH: Approx. 17Mbps / HQ: Approx. 9Mbps / LP: Approx. 5Mbps; STD HQ: 9Mbps Video Resolution : HD:1920x1080/60p(PS),24p(FX,FH),60i(FX,FH), 1440x1080/60i(HQ,LP); STD: 720x480/60i Video Actual (Pixel) : Approx. 6140K pixels (16:9), Approx. 4600K pixels (4:3) Video Signal : NTSC color, EIA standards |

Re: Sony PJ710 Projector
Your NLE needs to be able to format and send the output to the camera. I know Edius that I use will do this. I think Vegas will do this too.
