Battery Blues.
So you think you've got battery trouble.
It wasn't so long ago that lithium camera batteries were a worry and the subject of a ban as aircraft passenger carryon, but it died down. This might re-ignite that concern .. Why Boeing's 787 Dreamliner was a nightmare waiting to happen | Business | guardian.co.uk btw the 787 will win through, I'm a fan, if it's not Boeing, I'm not going. Cheers.

Re: Battery Blues.
The batteries were made by Yuasa. However, I'm wondering if Yuasa subcontracted another company from China to supply their parts? That would explain everything.

Re: Battery Blues.
Quite likely Warren. Imo once they get this 787 sorted, worldwide they'll all tighten the screws on passenger Lithium camera batteries.
'From March 1991 to Oct. 9, 2012, the FAA counted 132 air incidents involving travelers' batteries burning through luggage, catching fire and occasionally hurting people.' Questions focus on Boeing's 787 Dreamliner's batteries Cheers.
