wireless internet provider for streaming video
I live in MN, and I am looking for an internet provider, that I can use on a mobile basis for streaming events. I feel as though the coverage of the typical cell companies will not be good enough. Any suggestions, has anyone ever used something like this?.
Thanks! |

Re: wireless internet provider for streaming video
Teradek is a site sponsor, so I'll link to their products. Basically what you can do is get a device that uses multiple network modems/SIM cards to do live, in the field streaming. Plug in the Teradek hub and then connect 2, 3, 4 or 5 USB modems for the necessary bandwidth.
Internet Streaming | Teradek, LLC | Wireless HD Video I see you're in St. Paul, so you might have seen WCCO broadcast from the field. I think they use the LiveU service which is aimed at broadcasters. Another option available is TVUPack. These two services (I'm not sure about Teradek) rent out the gear if you're not in a position to buy. I should say that TVUPack was a bit more "excited" to help me out when I needed a bid for a potential streaming gig. PM me if you'd be interested in knowing more about what that quote would look like. |
