Canon XL2 and XLH1 question.

Looking for some input if possible gang. My XL2 is down and out, needs major cleaning, etc. My XLH1 works great but the lens and viewfinder, in my opinion, don't compare for shooting SD, the XL2 is much better for shooting action sports. I put my 20x zoom on the XLH1, set it to SD, but the focus seems to be off somehow, I zoom in, focus, and pull out, but everything gets fuzzy. Even though Canon says I don't need to do anything with the Back Flange, I can't help but think something is wrong, I'm a novice when it comes to all of this. Was hoping for some input possibly. The viewfinder on the XLH1 has so much ghosting, it's tough to shoot, do I just not have the display set up right? I've tried everything, maybe someone has a tip or something. Thanks gang, looking forward to see where I stand on this. Jeff
