Final product output DVD or BlueRay
I have just read this Blu-ray is dead - heckuva job, Sony! | ZDNet article about the impeding death of BlueRay. I think is probably true as most people her seem to recordHD then down convert to SD for DVD.

IMHO online distribution is flattening all shiny discs, except for distribution of hollywood product. There, I think BR/DVD is holding its own against pay-per-view.
I can't remember the last time I bought a 100-stack of DVD-R, or, CD-R either.
