Fallout lanius. - fan movie.
One of our local film-makers in Western Australia, Wade Savage, apparently with the blessing of the franchise, is putting together a fan movie of Fallout Lanius and is seeking support through the indiegogo site.
Fallout: Lanius - A Blood Soaked Fallout Fan Film -- Indiegogo I am advised they will be shooting on the RED camera system so the production value will be there. |

Here is a bit more info on the project, a write up on IGN Australia. Players of the game series seem to be divisively speculative on what sort of a job the helmsman of the movie will do of it.

Looks like a pretty full on effort for a fan film. The story from the game itself never really swept me away, but it's clearly a world with a lot of depth and possibility in it. I'll be keen to see how the film turns out.
And always nice to see films coming out of the motherland (WA)! Cheers Bob |

As you would be aware, there is a lot of under-utilised talent here in W.A.. Pity about them having to do other stuff and too few seriously capitilised projects to keep everyone working. If anybody can make something out of nothing, the folk here can do it.
