Does this sound like a good idea for my vx2000?
Hi there, I have a question about general sd/3ccd cameras.. So when I film skateboarding lines (multiple tricks in a row) in awkwardly lit areas (throughout a line the light is variable), I try to adjust my exposure each time the light changes. But with my vx2000 its awkward when I'm skating and trying to get my other hand on my exposure wheel. If there were some sort of external remote computer the size of my palm with a chord that attached to the camcorder, which input would it go in?.. if such an input exists that could support that. Let me know if you understood everything and what you think. Thanks! Tristan

The VX's exposure can't be remotely controlled so you're out of luck. What if you simply lock down the shutter speed and let the iris/gain ride, then in post (using key frames) correct the under and over-exposed bits to level the overall exposure?
