Final Cut Pro to Premiere 6.5 transfer
Hi. I have two computers here, one is a gateway laptop and another is an Apple G5. I have a Maxtor external hardrive, and I need to transfer some footage captured on the Mac to the PC. I have tried to copy it several times, in various formats such as uncompressed DV and a quicktime .mov . I have made sure my hard drive is formatted in FAT32 rather than NTFS, and I can't figure out why the file will not open with premiere, quicktime, or Windows Media. Can anyone suggest solutions to this problem?
Thanks, Mike |

Ive had people try to send me videos from macs, and have everything work, and I have also had some that didnt work normally. The ones that it didnt work with, could send me mp4 files, and that was the only way it would play... worht a shot i guess

Thanks for your reply. However, I have just decided to export the clip to tape and then capture it in premiere.
