Capturing HDV tapes on PC for Mac

I need to capture some HDV tapes on a PC with Premiere Pro CS4 on it for a Mac user. I would appreciate any tips on the best way to do this. Can I simply capture the .m2t files and give those to the Mac user?

I do this occasionally (but with Vegas Pro instead of PP), and the .m2t files have worked just fine. Your Mac user can transcode if they want.

Capture the .m2t files on the PC then use ClipWrap (Mac only) to re-wrap the .m2t files into a quicktime wrapper. I think this gives you the most flexible way of dealing with cross-platform HDV files. Everyone ends up with a copy of the original files in a format that's favorable to each platform.
