DV to BetaSP
I have about 5 minutes of B-roll footage of a clients product in action. All footage was shot 16:9, 60i on an XL-2 miniDV camcorder.
The client needs BetaSP copies to distribute to broadcast outlets. I have gathered a lot of good info here already and have seen earlier topics discussing proper formatting for broadcast including bars & tone, slate and count-down leader with the program material starting at precisely 01:00:00:00. Do I need to create a non-drop frame master to supply for the transfer in order for all this to work out correctly? Thanks -bob |

Your client would be the best one to ask.

Bob-
E-mail me at jason@bestfriends.org and I can send you a doc file that I used as a guideline in a recent video that I sent to TV outlets via satellite service.
