gmail accounts

Hey, who wants a gmail account. I've got 50 invites just waiting to be used up. Send me an email through DV info's site if interested.

I guess this means that I don't have many friends eh? haha.

Like wise, I've got about 40 left. Used a couple to create throw-away addresses. I've never checked them, just use them when something requires an email address and I don't trust their privacy policy. Plus Gmail account are pretty nice size wise for the price...free!

I find the interface slightly faster, spam blocking is smarter and doesn't stop site registrations as much, and huge storage means you can store all your site registrations and access them easily through search.

For a spam-catching account (for site registrations and other email that doesn't need to get to your main email), it is good.

Not to mention, you can set it up (very easily) for POP access so you can use any email client to check it. Sure, you can set up Hotmail for POP, but you HAVE to use Outlook Express....and....you dont want to do that....do you?

Gmail rocks.

One of the main reasons I like Gmail is that it helps keep smam at a minimum. I signed up for a hotmail account and without even registering for anything using that email address, I was already getting spammed.

Gmail also groups replies into one email. You don't get response after response piling up in your inbox, Gmail groups them all together into one nice thread. You can seperate them if you like, but you don't have to. I love it.

If you do a lot of back-and-forth style conversations via email, then you'll LOVE gmail. The conversational threading is awesome. Plus, there's a great gmail "notifier" plugin for Firefox....you DO use FireFox, don't you? ;-)

Seriously, I love gmail. Been using it for almost a year now, and I've completely stopped using my Hotmail and Yahoo accounts.

Dang, I totally forgot about the notifier. Yeah, that's the best part! It tells you when you have an email and gives you a little preview!
