Buying a camera and need some info
Hello,
I am thinking to buy a camera. I dont want a camera to film holidays but rather to film some shorts and documentaries. I am a film student. Well, I just want to have a overall good small camera with max price 600 pounds. What are the options? Cheers! |

Hi George,
Here is one option, the Panasonic SD700. Very slightly over your budget but essentially the same as the much acclaimed TM700 but without the on-board 32GB of flash memory. Lot's of advanced features and manual controls. This model is being superceeded with the new models just announced at CES in January so it's price might (MIGHT - no guarantee!) come down shortly to reach your target. I'm sure others will have good suggestions for you too but another option might be to go the DSLR route - take your pick.
