Defragmenting RAID drives
I have a 2TB WD MyBook Studio drive (two 1TB drives) configured as RAID1. It still works fine but I think it's time to defrag it.
For all other (single) drives, both internal and external, I use Piriform's free Defraggler with good results, but reading about defragging RAID drives taught me just enough to be scared. What is the best software for RAID drives? I am looking at the most popular ones, Diskeeper from Executive, PerfectDisk from Raxco, and O&O Defrag... any other good ones? I would love to read your recommendations. Thanks, |
