Idiot-Proof Cameras
I have been asked to take a look at some video cameras for staff at my workplace to be able to record videos in and for their own departments as part of an initiative.
The price range and abilities of what they need are not my area: I was wondering if anyone could offer up any options or ideas. The requirements are (roughly) as follows: * Simple to use. * Memory card storage * Rugged enough * A few options for some creativity * Compatible with Windows Movie Maker. * Pretty cheap In the past they have used FlipCams. I was looking for other options where they would have more control over the camera. But these are people who have possibly never used a video camera before so basic all the way. Memory card is for easy workflow. Rugged because things always get broken. Windows Movie Maker because they won't have editing software other than this - this might not be a problem, but just in case their are difficult Codecs to edit with or something. Around the £100 - 200 / $150 - 300 range. Thanks MC |
