Triple monitor setup - need some help please
I want to buy three 28 inch monitors, turn them sideways (90 degrees) and place them together and create a triptych type of setup. Can anyone get me started on :
Something like this image : http://www.intermix.org.uk/images/in...e/triptych.jpg 1) What hardware I am going to need (besides the three monitors) 2) What software I will need to run videos and the like in this setup. Thanks in advance. |

Besides the monitors, you will need a mount. Ergotron makes just about any mount you need: Ergotron Products>Multi-Monitor
You'll also need a graphics card with 3 outputs, or one with two outputs and one with one output. The rest should just be system settings to get the monitors arranged properly. |

Thanks for that, I was thinking about building a mount so they could go sideways. Now, a bigger questions is how can I turn the video's I am showing, sideways so they show up properly on the 90 degree turned monitors?

In Mac (and probably Windows, too) there's an option to rotate the display. So instead of having a 1024 x 768 resolution, you have a 768 x 1024 resolution. If it's not under Control Panel > Displays in Windows, check for the graphics card driver program, I know NVIDIA has its own. In Mac OS it can be found in System Preferences > Displays, Rotation menu.
