malicious content detected.
Hi all, recently I have been getting a message stating "Take care, some potentially malicious content detected" whenever I go onto the dvinfo web page. Has anyone else received this message? Bob

Me neither, but sometimes I wish it would say
"Take care, some potentially very expensive content detected. Ask yourself, "do I really need this?"" |

Bob,
Any chance of a screen shot of what you are seeing on the screen? Andrew |

I think I figured it out. I had some kind of PC Tools Browser Guard on. I disabled it and now the message is gone. Hope that was it. If not I will let you know. Bob

'PC Tools Browser Guard' could be the reason you get the thread message. There are several malicious 'anti-virals' that enter your computer as a trojan, start warning and scaring you, disable your real fire wall, etc to make you buy that software (or even steal your creditcard info?).
Did you ever install it? If not: search the web for anwsers.
