Hi Andrew, I think you'll find there is a lot more activity amongst us Brits here on DVinfo than on that one. As I recall, there are over 370 of us registered as members on here - some more active than others though! Some of us even try and use English words with the correct spelling..... :-)
Here is a link to a (huge!) 6 year long thread that attempts to list those members. Colin McDonald keeps an occasionally updated spreadsheet of known UK members on here too - the last one was about Feb 2010 I think and is on the page linked below. http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/these-pe...ingdom-15.html

SimplyDV.co.uk | Camcorder Reviews, News, How-to and More! is back up and running, although very quiet at present as the word hasn't got around. The big plus for this site is that you have access to the immense knowledge of the founder, Colin Barrett.

Sorry to disagree Andy but I find that DV Doctor tends to be mainly UK members and this one mostly USA.
They are both good good though and full of useful advice.

Why? I've never used a camera that cares whether I'm a Brit or a Martian:)

Agreed.
DV info is US-based with a healthy international presence. That's the way I like it too.

DVi has approximately 50% of its members in the U.S. and 50% scattered
around the rest of the planet. Even so, our UK presence is bigger than any UK-centric site simply because that's how big we are. I'm very proud of that. The goal here is to be world-wide and that's exactly what we are. |

Don't get me wrong, I love the site. I would be using it as much as my internet access/partner allow me to ;-)
I had thought this site was mainly filled with US members, I didnt realize that there was that many world wide members on here. |
