Monitor needed?
I am looking for a Component Monitor that I can hook to my A1U so that I can hand to clients when doing simple interviews so they can get a basic idea of what is being recorded.
I don't have a very large budget... (2-300) Thoughts? |

I was thinking... What about a TV or portable DVD player?

Any cheap small HDTV with component in from Best Buy will do. If it doesn't even need to be in HD, then composite in will do just fine.
"Hand to clients"... as in they must handhold it? Then a small portable DVD player might work but the best you'll get is 480. http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/view-vid...ion-200-a.html We have a bunch of little 15" HDTVs we hook up to our Z5s via HDMI that we use to monitor, but they are standing on a countertop. Too big to just hand to someone. And the A1 doesn't have HDMI so component is your only choice if you want HD. What size are you looking for?
