DROBO Fail

I have had major problems with my Drobo. It has been mysteriously deleting files. I am missing quite a bit from different projects and need to recover files ASAP. Called tech and they said it might be a bus issue so I switched from using FW800 to USB2, still same problems. I was also told to run Disk Utulity and Disk Warrior, but neither has recovered my files.

Does anyone know how to recover these missing files? Any help is greatly appreciated. My livelihood is dependent on the recovery of these files.

Thanks

(if this is posted in the wrong forum please move to appropriate forum, thank you)

I have Drobo too. It failed 3 times within the first year and I lost important files each time. Then I have to buy individual harddrives to backup the drobo. Lesson learned, I won't buy another proprietary storage system.

i have two drobos and due to a similar problem don't fully trust them.

I had some folders that were completely emptied but the folder remained.

I used datarescuepc and got everything back.

It costs a good bit but was worth it. I'm now using western digital mybooks- mirrorred edition

thanks for the info. Sorry to hear it has happened to others. Are there any Mac based solutions? we are all on Macs here.

Thanks
