Trouble importing SD tape with HVX
I have been having trouble trying to import some old SD tapes I had laying around. They were filmed using my old Sony VX2000 which I have since sold. I tried importing using my XHA1 and an HVX, but keep getting the same error with either camera. It starts to import correctly, gets about 2 minutes in, and then just stutters and the image freezes and then I get an error stating "audio sample rate does not match"
Any suggestions? thanks |

I had the same problem... sort of... vice versa.
Had some oldish miniDV tapes filmed with a friend's Canon GL2, and tried transferring them to PC using a Sony Z1. Video was fine, but audio dropped out every now and then. Ended up borrowing again my friend's GL2 and importing without any issues. The morale is, I think, standards are standards only as long as it comes to manufacturer rivalry... |

Yeah, your best bet is to find something that says Sony on it. Default settings are likely to vary from mfr to mfr, but are likely to be similar within one mfr, even if model #s differ.
