Need Advice on Video Players and Hosting...

I have seen this topic on the forums, but most of the discussions seem fairly old, so I thought this might be worth revisiting.

I would like to find the following: 1. A video player that I can put my own branding on, that is relatively inexpensive to license for commercial use, that has the ability to include Pre-Roll, Overlay, or Post – Roll Ads that I either create myself or include from an Ad Affiliate. I anticipate needing to eventually use this on hundreds of domains.

2. Find a good, but also affordable video hosting service that can serve up HD and/or SD content without unreasonable restrictions on video length or file size. Of course, handle lots of traffic and be able to stream to multiple endpoints simultaneously.

In searching the Internet, I have found the following resources. I’d welcome opinions about the merits or demerits of some of these, as well as suggestions on good resources that I may have missed.

Video Players: JW Player, Flowplayer, OVP, Moyea, Sorenson, kickapps

Hosting Companies: Sorenson, fliqz, Akamai, vzaar, warphd, kickapps, exposure room. Amazon S3

Video Ad Companies: video bloom, videoclix.tv ,aditall,

I would appreciate any advice or suggestions. I am fairly new to all this, but I know I don’t want to use services like YouTube or Vimeo for this. Thanks!
