Copyright question

I know this isnt the right place but I figured someone on here might help me with this question because I cant find anywhere else to go.

If I write a book and someone wants to make a movie out of it, and I want to have final approval rights to the script, is that a possibility and if so where is the law that states this?

Thanks

There's no law. It's a contract issue. It's all what you negotiate.
