What's the mater Rick? Your not attracted to women in uniform? Actually, the college kids take over Clearwater for about 3 to 4 weeks for Spring Break, just like Joe says. The Scientologists don't care (they own many of the businesses in CW), the tourism money is still green.

No need to order tape from the US if your in Canada. The tapeguys.com are actually a Canadian company and have an office in Brampton Ont as well as Kansas City.

I'm not sure it matters how much equipment you have, or what kind, if you don't know how to use it. The same goes if you lack the confidence, and try to overcompensate with gear.

Be as good as you can possibly be with what you have, and be sure of it. They'll know.

Just want to add recent sightings of miniDV cameras in sexy scenarios...

GL1 (or 2) - Snoop Dogg Girls Gone Wild infomercial on TNN, multiple cameras (2 weeks ago)
VX2000 - Dragnet, a budget porno video was being shot with one. (tonight)
XL1 - WWF (WWE whatever) was being used to film their "Divas" getting sexy at a ranch. (yesterday)
XL1 - Fastlane, a higher budget porno was being shot with 2 XL1s. (a month ago)

Here is my rig, girls seem to dig it. I dislike the politics that go with having a sexy camera. sometimes i think the pd-150 guys are better off. people automatically think you are doing a real movie, which is a pain in the ass to be interrupted by being asked that all the time. When Im shooting with DV, it's usually a personal or low budget project which means little staff to stop interferrence and no permits. Also, shooting without permits becomes difficult for those shots that just would be too much trouble to get one for, although I just say my wife got this for my birthday and im just trying it out if the cops ask whats going on. Oh, i dont have a wife, so its OK for the smouldering babes to come up to me. :)

I use Fred X for ordering across borders. He doesn't deliver to your door, but he has a Buick with a hidden compartment in the trunk... No customs fees or taxes :)
