Matthews Black C-Stand?

Has anyone ever used the black matthews C-stands? I am interested in purchasing a few and I love the idea of being able to hide c-stands in dark areas of the sets. The thing i'm worried about is the back finish chipping off over time.
Anyone have experience with these?

I use black c stands all the time.
Never had a problem with the finish, but if you did, that is why they make black paint.

All the Best!

Finish is good on the Mathews. Though to be honest, I ostly use the silver, and simply run black gaffers over the parts that might need it on occasion.

I've got the black Matthews, and the finish is pretty bombproof. I use black for just that reason...hides better in the dark.
