Garden of Eden Location Suggestions
I have a shoot that I need to get by March for a production. It needs to look like the Garden of Eden... you know, beautiful green grass, trees, flowers, rivers, lakes or ponds, etc...
We are looking to keep it somewhere in the the mid-Southwest since most of the cast is from these areas--Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico or at the furthest, Southern California. We have found some really nice parks here and there, but they all have benches, trashcans, sidewalks, etc. that I suspect WEREN'T in Eden. If worse comes to worse, I can After Effects the sidewalks to a glowing gold or something, but I'd rather find a place with 100% natural beauty with no man-made things to post-out. Any suggestions? (hope this is the right forum, apologies if not). |

Griffith Park in LA comes immediately to mind. The Angeles National Forest in SoCal has many areas untouched by civilization. There may be some places that are still green even this time of year.
Obviously in the Southwest the dominant foliage color is brown, but these might be places to start. National Forest land or campgrounds might be better for you than city parks. Last edited by Adam Gold; November 12th, 2009 at 02:51 PM. |

Check the yellow pages for your local greenhouse or arboretum.
