Sony camcorders
I have 2 camcorders TRV65E Hi8, and a TRV17E DV, with dv in and out enabled, question, can the Hi8 tapes be transfered to the DV camcorder just using the 2 camcorders and how, using what.

You need "analog in" enabled (Y/C or composite) on your DV camcorder.

I am not shure yr cam can be "enabled" for analog.. If there is no hardware for composite(or Y/C) to component conversion (needed for DV compression) this will be impossible. Check the cam specs.

Another way is to locate a D8 camcorder that can view Hi* tapes (not all do). Then you can transfer to DV via firewire.
