hi
apologies for newbie q's! iv been using a borrowed XL1 for a while, but the time is approaching to get my own camera. i'd love an XL2, but i think thats beyond my bread for the time being. i generally shoot stuff to be quite heavily manipulated in post. i'm not that interested in recording sound, or HD. but 24p seems right up my alley. and i need a good lense. can anyone suggest the best solution for these requirements without busting my wallet too much? many thanks, alex |

Well the XL2 is surely expensive but there arent that many choices for you if you would want to shoot 24p, the panasonic ag dvx100a is around $3,000 right now after the $300 rebate. And its a great camera, I dont think you could go wrong with it (has a great lens as well).

In these very forums, someone is selling a nice XL1s package for around the same price. Check out the private classified section.
