Pal Output
Curious, if you're working in Final Cut Pro but shooting in Pal is there a way to output from Pal to NTSC from FCP without using an outside program or service?

FCP cannot be used to convert PAL to NTSC or vice versa. However, it can be done through Quicktime but the results are for entertainment purposes only. By that I mean I wouldn't show the end result to a client or use it for any critical work or evaluation.

Thanks for the quick response. When you say entertainment purposes I suppose you don't mean television replay or do you? Is it just totally crap?

Entertainment purpose is a cheap way to see what you've got before you pay to have it done by a post house. In no way could it be broadcast, it's just for you to see what you've got.
