Animating on .mov Video in Flash CS4

Hello, I am trying to find a solution to a problem which arose when I upgraded to Flash CS4 from an older Macromedia version.

I want to create some clunky little animations to overlay on video in FCP6. In the past, all I had to do was import .mov video files to the stage in Flash. The video would show up frame by frame and I could animate right over top of it in a new layer, then delete the video layer, export the Flash animation as a .mov with a bright green background, take it into Final Cut and chroma key out the green.

Ta-da! Fun goofy little animation integrated with HD video!

CS4 seems a bit too professional to let me do this... any suggestions on how to accomplish this effect with my new gear? Thanks a lot.

I know very little about working with Flash, but it seems you should be able to just export your .mov file using the Animation codec with "millions of colors +" (I think it is). Don't even bother with creating the green layer that you'll have to key out anyway. This codec should create a transparency layer where the green would be anyway, and when you drop it into FCP, the transparency should still be intact.

I appreciate the response. The main problem I'm having is getting video to show up on the Flash timeline to begin with. It wants to encode the video and give it a "skin" which I don't want. Any suggestions on that?
